Sell tickets

Configure ticket tiers, pricing, and inventory for paid events.

Paid events use ticket types — tiers with their own name, price, quantity, and sale window. Buyers purchase through the Motivz app or web checkout; funds flow to your organization after platform fees.

  1. Select Ticketing mode

When creating or editing an event, choose Ticketing (paid). If payouts are not enabled, Motivz blocks this option and links you to the Payouts screen.
  2. Add a ticket type

Tap Add ticket type and configure:
    • Name — e.g. General Admission, VIP
    • Price — amount in your currency
    • Quantity — total available (leave unlimited if no cap)
    • Sale window — optional start and end dates for when the tier is on sale
    • Per-user limits — max tickets per person or per transaction
