How do I connect Stripe for payouts?

Open your organization dashboard → Payouts, accept organizer terms, and complete Stripe's hosted onboarding. See Set up Stripe Connect.

Can I run free events without Stripe?

Yes. Choose RSVP (free) when creating an event. No Stripe setup is required. External ticket links also work without Stripe.

Why is paid ticketing disabled when I create an event?

Paid tickets require payouts enabled for your organization. Complete Stripe Connect setup first, then return to event creation.

How do I add someone to my team?

Organization dashboard → Team. Search for Motivz users and assign roles and permissions. See Invite team members.

How do refunds work?

Purchasers request refunds from their ticket screen. Your team approves and processes them from dashboard → Refunds. Refunds cannot be requested within 24 hours of event start, and scanned tickets are ineligible. See Handle refund requests.

How do I check in attendees?

Scan QR codes from dashboard → Ticket Scanning, or search the roster under View the ticket list. See also Scan tickets at the door.

What is Motivz Lens?

The event photo and video gallery on each event page. Attendees tag posts to your event; everyone browses the grid on the event detail screen. See Motivz Lens gallery.

DJs

How do I get a DJ profile?

Request a DJ persona from Profile settings or the Create tab. See Create your DJ profile.

How do I get listed on an event?

An organizer adds you when creating or editing an event. You receive an invitation in DJ Portal — accept it to appear on the lineup. See Accept event invitations.

Can I edit my profile after creating it?

Yes. DJ Portal → Edit profile. See Update your profile.

• Organization mode — operating as your org from the entity switcher; unlocks dashboard, payouts, and event tools.
• Payouts enabled — Stripe Connect onboarding complete; required for paid Motivz ticketing.
• RSVP — free event registration through the app.
• Ticket type — a priced tier (GA, VIP, etc.) with its own inventory and sale window.
