Quickstart

Get up and running with Motivz as an organizer or DJ in a few minutes.

Overview

Motivz helps organizers publish events, sell tickets, and engage attendees — and helps DJs build a discoverable profile linked to the nights they play. Most organizer workflows run through the Motivz mobile app; attendees can also browse events and buy tickets on the web.

  1. Create your Motivz account

    Sign up in the Motivz app or at themotivz.com/login. Use the same email you plan to use for Stripe payouts if you will sell paid tickets.
  2. Create an organization

    Follow Create an organization to set up your brand name, handle, logo, and public profile. You need an organization before you can publish events.
  3. Set up Stripe (paid tickets only)

    Free RSVP events and external ticket links do not require Stripe. If you plan to sell tickets through Motivz, complete Set up Stripe Connect before adding paid ticket types.
  4. Publish your first event

    From your organization dashboard, follow Create an event to go live. You will be prompted to accept organizer ticketing terms the first time you create an event.
